Serengeti Simba Lodge on the map
Serengeti Simba Lodge is located on the Gambasage Hill at the Ikoma Gate, in the western part of the Serengeti ecosystem. The lodge stands right on the path of the Great Migration providing an unhindered access to the view of thousands of wildebeests making their annual circuit through the plains of the Serengeti National Park. From the tent windows one can see the Grumeti River at the distance. Throughout a year, the famous Serengeti dwellers can be seen right out of the tent windows: lions watching their prey, cheetahs hunting antelopes, giraffes wandering peacefully amidst the grass.
