Safari Packing List

We were traveling to Tanzania 7adults and 1 child. And all of us had such a good experience there!Many thanks to all Altezza travel team: managers, guides, everyone who helped us to collect the best memories of our Safari! We visited 2 national parks . And enjoyed every minute there! Thank You so much! Everything was perfect: our guides were very profesional, empathetic, know everything, also a good drivers; lodges - very unique, each different, clean and the stuff was absolutely fantastic; cars - great new experiences for all of us. Coffee tour and Maasai vilages were also very interesting for us! Altezza travel team, thanks for all organization! Good job! I could say, that everyone brought home the best memories from Tanzania! And we are hoping to come back there once again! And when we’ll do that so definitely we’ll contact with Altezza once again! We’ll recommend You to all our friends!

We just did the most sensational 8 day safari! There were 6 of us (hubby and I, 2 adult kids and their partners). It was the most incredible experience. The accomodation was fantastic, varying from stunning hotels to camp tents (think glamping - with bathrooms, toiletries, electricity, charging stations, huge beds etc!). We had the best guide on the planet, Hussein, who was the loveliest, most informative, patient man! We saw the most incredible sights (all of the big 5!) thanks to him and his experience. He was always on hand, first thing in the morning, last thing at night, to make sure we were settled in and comfortable, and had all the info for the next day’s adventures. The vehicle held all 6 of us in reasonable comfort (no one can guard against the “African massage” with some of the roads!). There was always plenty of water and soft drinks in the vehicle, and plenty of food in our lunch boxes, and other meals. It was never a problem to stop for us when we had to “do the necessary”! The tour itself was well thought out, and covered some incredible areas. Sophie worked so well with us, helping plan our safari from the start, very patient with all our questions, and moving of dates, etc. There was fabulous communication from the company itself, checking in on us and making sure everything was going ok. They organised a birthday cake for our son at one of the hotels, which was such a lovely touch. There were great tips shared with us before we left (packing list etc), which was extremely helpful. Most helpful - neutral coloured clothes, INSECT SPRAY, wipes, hand sanitiser, sunscreen, to name a few. We found a power bank for cameras/phones was a life saver as we took so many photos. We all absolutely recommend Altezza and all associated with them! We’re so grateful they made the entire trip such a bucket list, once in a lifetime experience!
