Open Group Safaris 2025-2026

My 13-year old daughter and I did the 6 day safari in Tanzania with Altezza Travel and it was a life-changing adventure for both of us! All accommodations were great and the safari itinerary was perfect! We had an extra day in the beginning of the trip at the Ngare-Sero Mountain Lodge which was great to rest and acclimate to the time and weather changes so the trip in total was 8 days. We visited Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park. All places were amazing!! Our tour guide / driver, Adam, was very professional and knew all about the wildlife that we encountered. We were able to see The Big Five and countless other species. The dirt roads throughout the Serengeti are rough and we did get a flat tire but Adam changed it very quickly and during our brief delay, we got to interact with some Masai children. The food throughout the trip was also excellent. We did include a hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti with Miracle Experience and that is also highly recommended. Altezza did all of the planning and scheduling which was flawless AND they, along with staff at the lodges, were very punctual. Overall I highly recommend Altezza Travel and we are already planning another Altezza adventure for the not so distant future.

We had a 10 day Safari exploring Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro and it was a fantastic time. Our guide Noel was informative, helpful, and most importantly fun to be around! He made our trip one to remember and we would all recommend him to anyone coming to Tanzania. He navigated us through kilometers of Savannah and bush, made it look easy, while telling us everything we wanted to know and spotting every animal there was to see. Thank you again to Noel who made us feel at home and for guiding us through an adventure that we will never forget!
